Heart of a Dog’s debut EP 'Awake! and Carry On' was released independently in March 2011 and the quality of their sound generated interest from BBC Introducing, who dubbed their first EP “a late night counseling session with a friend.”
Heart of a Dog then took time away from the gig circuit to pen their latest offering - ‘With the Head of a Beast.’ This record represents a musically progressive step in HOAD’s songwriting. It embodies the evident and often tangible soundscape that characterised their last EP, whilst introducing a potent fusion of percussive, compelling rhythms that nurture the tender melody.
